The Dixie Center for the Arts is a historic 1928 theater in Downtown Ruston offering live music, theatre, comedy, movies, and community events. We serve Ruston families, LA Tech students, arts enthusiasts, event planners, schools, and visitors to Downtown Ruston. Our programming includes live music, theatre, comedy, variety shows, school plays, LA Tech productions, Ruston Community Theatre performances, educational workshops, film screenings, and flexible rental space for organizations and private events. A nonprofit community anchor since 1928, the Dixie Center has been the heart of arts and culture in Downtown Ruston for nearly a century. Buy tickets at dixiecenter.org, visit our box office, or stop by Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm.
